Responsibilities

  • Frontend Visualization Development:
    • Design interactive time-series visualizations using D3.js and React for infrastructure monitoring systems.
    • Build high-performance data visualization components handling 1000+ infrastructure components.
    • Build highly responsive dashboards that update in real time.
    • Develop reusable, performant UI components (charts, tables, filters) to support rich data interactivity.
    • Optimize UI performance, measuring and tuning SLIs to guarantee responsive user interactions.

    Time - Based Interface Development:

    • Implement time picker functionality for historical timeline exploration and incident analysis.
    • Create dynamic timeline controls with navigation, zoom capabilities and comparative analysis features.

    Infrastructure Dependency Mapping:

    • Create dynamic dependency visualization using force-directed graphs and network diagrams.
    • Build interactive node manipulation for complex architectures with filtering and drill-down capabilities.

    Alert and Incident Correlation:

    • Build alert timeline visualization with cascading failure representation and impact analysis.
    • Implement visual indicators for incident severity and automated correlation algorithms.

    Backend Integration & API Development:

    • Develop RESTful APIs for telemetry data consumption and real-time infrastructure monitoring.
    • Create data processing pipelines and integrate with enterprise monitoring systems and APM tools.

Skills

  • Core Technical Expertise:

    • Frontend Mastery: 5+ years React development with Hooks, context API and modern patterns
    • Data Visualization: 3+ years D3.js expertise in custom charts, force-directed graphs and interactive visualizations.
    • Data structures and algorithms: Strong foundation in algorithmic thinking, optimization techniques and efficient data processing.
    • Responsive Design: Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and modern styling approaches for enterprise applications.
    • JavaScript/TypeScript: Expert - Level ES6+ proficiency with async programming and type-safe development.
    • Performance Optimization: Advanced bundle optimization, lazy loading and large dataset handling techniques.

    Visualization and Data Processing:

    • Time-Series Analytics: Deep understanding of temporal data visualization and historical data exploration.
    • Network Visualization: Expertise in graph theory, network topology and interactive node-link diagrams.
    • Real-time dashboards: Experience with live data updates, streaming visualization, and monitoring interfaces.
    • Largest Dataset Management: Data virtualization, progressive loading and memory-efficient rendering techniques.

    Backend and Integration:

    • API Development: 3+ years Node.js or Python for RESTful services and data processing pipelines.
    • Real-time Systems: WebSocket implementation and real-time data streaming architectures.
    • Enterprise Integration: Knowledge of monitoring systems, APM tools and infrastructure APIs.
    • Database Integration: Experience with time-series databases and efficient data querying patterns.

    Infrastructure and DevOps:

    • Monitoring Systems: Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, alerting systems and observability platforms.
    • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP services and cloud-native monitoring solutions.
    • Development Tools: Advanced Git workflows, CI/CD integration and automated testing strategies.
    • Security and Compliance: Secure coding practices, authentication integration and enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years professional frontend development with significant focus on data visualization.
    • 3+ years D3.js and advanced visualization experience in enterprise environments.
    • 3+ years backend API development using Node.js, Python or similar technologies.
    • 2+ years experience with enterprise-scale applications and high-performance systems.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Some degree in Computer Science, Data Visualization or related field will be preferred.
    • Infrastructure monitoring experience with ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus or enterprise APM platforms.
    • Open source contributions to visualization libraries or data processing frameworks.
    • Enterprise consulting experience in customer-facing technical roles.
    • DevOps knowledge including containerization, cloud-native architectures and infrastructure concepts.
