We are looking for a disciplined and dynamic individual to join our team as a People and Culture Intern. The intern will support various aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development (L&D), employee engagement, and employer branding. This role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in people management and organizational culture. Outstanding performance during the internship may lead to potential employment.
Your responsibilities would typically be to:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding:
• Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth integration of new hires.
2. Offboarding:
• Facilitate the offboarding process, ensuring proper documentation and handover.
• Collect and analyse exit feedback to improve organizational practices.
3. Learning & Development (L&D):
• Help in planning and organizing training sessions.
• Maintain training records and employee development plans.
4. Employee Engagement Activities:
• Organise and execute employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Collect feedback to measure the effectiveness of engagement programs.
5. Documentation & Employee Data Management:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Assist in the preparation of HR-related documentation (e.g., contracts, letters).
6. Employer Branding:
• Create content for employer branding initiatives across social media and other channels.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to showcase organizational culture.
7. Payroll Support:
• Assist in gathering and verifying payroll data.
• Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely processing.
8. Other Responsibilities:
• Track and report on employee event participation and feedback.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
