Responsibilities

    • Contribute to back-end development using FastAPI
    • Build and maintain robust API endpoints to support seamless front-end integration
    • Support PostgreSQL database operations, including schema design and optimization
    • Work with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs and assist in developing AI powered product features
    • Collaborate in integrating Next.js front-end components with FastAPI back-end services
    • Participate in writing, testing and debugging code under the guidance of senior developers
    • Continuously learn and apply best practices in Python, web development and Generative AI

Skills

  •             Required Skills:

    • Proficiency in Python and basic experience with FastAPI or another web framework
    • Understanding of web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Next.js
    • Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
    • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server communication
    • Version control using Git
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in GenAI and full-stack development

      Bonus/Nice-to-Have Skills:
    • Understanding of basic GenAI concepts like prompt engineering, embeddings or retrieval - augmented generation (RAG)
    • Familiarity with tools such as LangChain or Llamalndex
    • Knowledge of CI/CD workflows or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)


Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
    • A minimum of six months of relevant experience in software development is desirable; this may include internships, freelance projects, or academic work.
