Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the .NET framework, including ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for web applications
    • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices, particularly for web-based solutions
    • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes
    • Leverage Microsoft Azure services for application hosting, monitoring, and scalability, including using Azure DevOps for CI/CD
    • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality
    • Optimize application performance by working with databases, including SQL Server and Azure SQL, to design and refine queries and stored procedures
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in web applications to ensure high availability and performance
    • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly those related to cloud computing and web development
    • Mentor junior developers in best practices for web application development, CI/CD processes, and Azure cloud services
    • Document code, development processes, and CI/CD configurations to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.

Skills

    • Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API development
    • Strong skills in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications
    • Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps
    • Knowledge of application hosting, monitoring, and scalability using Microsoft Azure
    • Proficiency in SQL Server and Azure SQL, including query optimization and stored procedures
    • Expertise in writing clean, scalable, and efficient code, with experience in code reviews
    • Ability to identify and resolve issues to maintain application performance and availability
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver features and enhancements
    • Experience mentoring junior developers in best practices for web development and cloud services
    • Skills in documenting code, processes, and configurations for maintainability and knowledge sharing
    • Industry Knowledge and aware of latest trends in web development and cloud computing technologies

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
    • 2+ years’ experience as a Dot Net Developer or in a similar role
