Responsibilities

  • 1. Training & Development:

    • Design, develop, and deliver DevOps Bootcamp sessions (online/in-person).
    • Prepare learning materials, hands-on labs, and project assignments aligned with real-world DevOps use cases.
    • Guide and mentor participants through their projects and assessments.
    • Evaluate learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
    • Conduct webinars, workshops, and guest sessions to enhance participant engagement.

    2. Technical & Program Support:

    • Contribute to developing training content, modules, and project frameworks that mirror industry practices.
    • Demonstrate and explain the use of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Set up and maintain AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines for demonstration and student use.
    • Support the curriculum team with updates to reflect evolving DevOps tools and methodologies.
    • Collaborate with the Academy and Technical team to ensure consistent program delivery and outcomes.

Skills

    • Strong practical experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, VPC, Load Balancers, IAM).
    • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
    • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
    • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, DataDog).
    • Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
    • Understanding of security best practices in cloud infrastructure (IAM, WAF, Firewalls).

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or System Administration.
    • Experience mentoring, training, or conducting technical sessions (preferred but not mandatory).
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
    • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping learners transition into tech careers.
