Responsibilities

  • 1. Automation Testing:

    - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for mobile and TV applications 

    - Ensure comprehensive test coverage through automated testing frameworks


    2. Device Testing:

    - Perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing on mobile and TV devices 

    - Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies


    3. Test Planning and Strategy:

    - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test plans

    - Develop and implement test strategies for mobile and TV applications


    4. Continuous Improvement:

    - Continuously improve the automation framework to enhance test efficiency and reliability

    - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile and TV application testing


    5. Reporting and Documentation:

    - Create detailed test reports and documentation

    - Communicate test results, coverage, and defect reports to the team


Skills

  • 1. Technical Skills:
    o Proven experience in automation testing for mobile and TV applications
    o Strong knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or similar
    o Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
    o Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins
    o Familiarity with version control systems like Git

    2. Device Expertise:
    o In-depth understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and TV platforms
    o Knowledge of device-specific testing challenges and best practices

    3. Additional Skills:
    o Experience with performance testing tools and techniques
    o Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
    o Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI

    4. Soft Skills:
    o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    o Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    o Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
    • 4+ years of professional experience in automation QA testing
    • Proven experience in testing mobile and TV applications
