Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong Python expertise to develop and maintain data pipelines, implement ETL processes, and ensure scalable, reliable data infrastructure. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data for analysis and decision-making. The role involves designing data architectures for both batch and real-time processing, while upholding quality, security, and compliance. As Data Engineer, your responsibilities would typically be to:

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct regular meetings, document requirements, and ensure alignment with objectives.

Data Quality and Governance

• Implement monitoring and validation processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Develop data quality metrics, automated validation rules, and lineage tracking.
• Collaborate with governance teams to enforce data standards, policies, and procedures.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization

• Continuously monitor and optimize system and pipeline performance.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning systems.
• Proactively address bottlenecks and ensure cost-effective scalability.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 2–4 years of professional experience in data engineering, software development, or related field.
• Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in data engineering, cloud, or big data are highly valued.

Python Programming Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Python and Git version control.
• Familiarity with branching strategies, code reviews, CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies.

Data Modeling and Architecture

• Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and warehousing principles.
• Experience with data lake architectures and metadata management.
• Familiarity with data catalog and discovery tools.
