Responsibilities

  • As a Content Writer and Editor, your responsibilities would typically be to:

    • Research and write high-quality, engaging biographies of various personalities in sports, fitness, and social media influence

    • Ensure every content is factually accurate, up-to-date, and reflects the brand's voice and tone

    • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm ideas, identify trending topics, and develop content strategies

    • Conduct thorough research, including interviews, when necessary, to gather detailed information about the subjects

    • Maintain a consistent publishing schedule and adhere to deadlines

    • Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy

    • Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms

    • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in sports, fitness, and social media

Skills

    • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
    • Experience in content writing, particularly in biographies or similar fields, is preferred
    • Ability to research and verify information effectively
    • Familiarity with SEO principles and social media platforms
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field is highly desirable (current students or recent graduates in these fields will be given special consideration)
      • One or more than one year of work experience in content writing, editing, and publishing is highly desirable
      • Proven Past Record: demonstrable experience in content writing, editing, and proofreading
      • Applicants should provide a portfolio or samples of previous work
