The Business Development Manager for our Academy Division is responsible for expanding the reach, visibility, and enrollment of the company’s IT Academy programs. The role focuses on developing both direct enrollment and Business-to-Business (B2B) markets by promoting training programs, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving student enrollment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building relationships with students, educational institutions, and corporate partners while contributing to the academy’s overall growth strategy and revenue generation.
As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities would typically be to:
Oversee and coordinate the overall team operations across Nepal and India to ensure effective program outreach and business development activities.
Apply strong sales and marketing strategies to drive program enrollments and achieve business development targets.
Develop and implement strategies to expand the market reach of the academy’s training programs.
Promote the academy’s training and certification programs to prospective students, professionals, and organizations.
Manage and convert inquiries into enrollments through consultations, presentations, and follow‑ups.
Identify and establish partnerships with colleges, universities, training institutes, and corporate organizations.
Organize seminars, workshops, webinars, and information sessions to promote academy programs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support digital campaigns, outreach activities, and promotional events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and corporate partners.
Identify corporate training opportunities and negotiate partnership agreements.
Track leads, enrollment data, and business development activities through CRM or reporting tools.
Prepare regular reports on market performance, partnerships, and enrollment growth.
Provide market insights and recommendations to improve program offerings and outreach strategies.
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or partnership management.
Prior experience in the education, training, EdTech, or IT services sector is highly preferred.
Proven ability to achieve enrollment, sales, or revenue targets.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
