We are seeking an efficient Python Developer who shall be responsible for creating, testing, and managing software applications using Python, comprehending project needs, designing software structure, writing code that is both efficient and clean, and ensuring optimal application performance.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented codes
• Conduct code testing and reviews to ensure quality
• Design, develop and maintain Python-based data scraping and mining applications
• Develop batch processes and automation tasks with python
• Create robust and scalable data extraction and transformation processes to gather structured and unstructured data from various sources
• Implement data cleaning, preprocessing a validation technology to ensure data quality and integrity
• Write unit test cases and engage in system testing
• Deploy projects using various AWS technologies
• Support and maintenance activities for application after production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to define, design, and implement new features
• Optimize existing software applications to improve performance and scalability
• Maintain and improve existing codebase and troubleshoot issues
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, techniques, and industry trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or similar faculty
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Python development

Required Skills

• Experience with Python Flask or Django Framework and BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium
• Experience and excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, MongoDB and other databases
• Knowledge of AWS services such as Ec2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation etc.
• Experience in visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
• Experience with data extraction pipelines using APIs, web scraping, or crawling methods
• Experience working in AI/ML projects would be an added advantage
• Proficient in Git, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices
• Experience or working knowledge of any other programming language would be an added advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
