Responsibilities:
- Produce well-researched, engaging, and SEO-optimized content in the designated niche, including articles, blog posts and more
- Collaborate with team to develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with the marketing goals and target audience. Stay updated with industry trends and competitor analysis to enhance content effectiveness
- Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and subject matter experts, to gather information, validate ideas, and ensure content accuracy
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a content calendar to ensure consistent content production and timely delivery
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, news, and best practices in content marketing and the designated niche. Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative and valuable content
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, preferably in a content marketing role
Required Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Strong research skills to gather and analyze information from various sources
- Understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Proficiency in using content creation tools, such as Grammarly, Copyscape, and WordPress
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- A passion for the designated niche and the ability to produce creative and compelling content within it
- A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating your expertise in the designated niche will be highly beneficial
- Candidates keen on Biography, Sports, and lifestyle blogging are preferred
