Assess & Build Your Cloud Architecture with AWS Best Practices
The AWS Well – Architected Framework Review is an evaluation of your Cloud infrastructure, and is designed to provide best practices and guidelines.
It helps cloud architects build secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructure for a variety of applications and workloads globally.
As an AWS Well-Architected Partner, we help you review your infrastructure with the WAFR to increase efficiency, cut costs & improve security.
Built around six pillars — the framework helps you evolve your cloud practice and ensure you are getting the most from your AWS cloud environment.
The ability to run and monitor systems to deliver business value and to continually improve supporting processes and procedures.
The ability to protect information, systems, and assets while delivering business value through risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
The ability to avoid or eliminate unneeded cost or suboptimal resources while not bringing the performance down.
The ability of a system to recover from infrastructure or service failures, dynamically acquire computing resources to meet demand, and mitigate disruptions such as misconfigurations or transient network issues.
The ability to use computing resources efficiently to meet system requirements, and to maintain that efficiency as demanded changes and technologies evolve.
The ability to minimize the environmental impacts of running cloud workloads by maximizing utilization and minimizing required resources considering the long term environmental aspect.
Built around these six pillars — the framework helps you evolve your cloud practice and ensure you are getting the most from your AWS cloud environment.
System operation, monitoring, and improvement for delivering business value.ide content.
Efficient resource utilization without compromising performance.
Resilient system design for fault tolerance, scalability, and disaster recovery.
Optimizing computing resources to meet changing system demands and technologies.
Minimizing cloud's environmental impact through efficient resource utilization.
You qualify for a Well-Architected Review & $5000 AWS Credits if you:
You qualify for a Well-Architected Review & $5000 AWS Credits if you
have workloads running on AWS
have not done the Well-Architected Review previously for the same workload
Book your free review and choose who's going. We'll bring our expert team of Well Architected certified engineers and cloud consultants. You bring whoever needs to be there from both a technical and business perspective. This is not just a technical meeting so bring people from the business.
Our review is conducted as a workshop. Our certified AWS Solution Architects will assess your production workloads against established best practices, derived from thousands of AWS deployments. This provides us with a comprehensive understanding of your AWS solution and workload.
Following the review, we will provide you with a comprehensive report on your workload that outlines any potential risks, along with their level of severity and recommended solutions. This report will be presented as a single document that includes the cost estimates for any necessary remediation work.
When you partner with us, you have the opportunity to follow the AWS best practice guidelines for your workloads. This can be done by either our team or yours, as per your preference. You need to remediate a minimum of 45% HRIs reported by the review to meet criteria for the credits.
After completion of the remediation, AWS will share a CSAT survey regarding the WAFR. You will need to complete the survey & if all conditions are met along with the completion of the survey, your workload will be eligible for the credits & you will receive them in your AWS account.
The AWS Well-Architected Framework, a set of best practices for operating systems in the Cloud, is developed by Amazon Web Services. A Well-Architected review is a thorough evaluation of a vital workload against the framework by AWS Certified engineers at Adex. The review involves answering structured questions related to the six pillars of the Well-Architected Framework to ensure compliance with AWS's recommended best practices.
Once we start, you can expect the complete deliverables within 2-5 working days.
AWS workloads are the applications, programs or IT resources hosted on the AWS cloud.
Maximizing value requires participation from all parties involved in the workload in the Well-Architected Review. Ideally, there should be at least one representative from each crucial aspect of the workload, including the business and operations teams. The following individuals are typically involved in a typical workload:
You can carry out as many reviews as you have distinct AWS workloads. It is recommended that each workload is revisited every three to six months just to make sure that you are being up to date.
In terms of AWS Credit funding, you can only request funding once for each distinct workload.
An AWS Well-Architected Review with Adex costs $2500 but you can redeem it with the AWS Credits you get from WAFR. (You don't pay anything until you receive the credits)
It still saves you $2500 AWS Credits along with a architecture review without spending any dollars($$).
The Well-Architected Review shows you areas to improve & helps you:
- Leverage Cloud Best Practices
- Improve Cloud Security
- Reduce Operational Costs
- Minimize System Failures
- Improve AWS Efficiency
We've been able to save 25-30% on our Cloud costs with Infrastructure & cost-optimization support from Adex. We were facing challenges with our data lakes that were growing 40-50% annually. We needed a better organization of cold, warm & hot data. Adex helped us with a tool and technical expertise that quickly enabled us to evaluate the S3 data access pattern and overall infrastructure utilization. The greatest strength of Adex is that they are very much aligned with our business goals & work with us as a team to help achieve them.
